Twilight- Just Another Opinion There are a million discussions, rants, and assorted squealing vs. scream-sessions on Isabella “Bella” Swan, Edward Cullen, and their relationship, so I’m not going to waste my time debating it – those who like it love it and those who don’t are disturbed and nothing will change either party’s minds. Instead I’d like to focus a little on a few topics that aren’t as well discussed (i.e. there may be on a few hundred rants as opposed to thousands). Let’s begin by establishing that, yes, I have read Twilight and NTwilight- Just Another Opinion
Meyer's Writing SucksFor reasons beyond me, there are some people who think that the Twilight series are well written books. I don't think that there's anything wrong with enjoying badly written books, just as long as you realise that they are badly written books. Fans are using the excuse that it was her first book, and it was written just for fun or for herself. Yes, most books are, but is that an excuse to publish a book written entirely in purple prose with repetition, poor grammar, and thesaurus abuse? These books have clearly had little to no editing. They’re like a very early first draft that I know I’d be ashamed to let anyone see. Look at the wMeyer's Writing Sucks
